Full description
Gain a deep insight into Ancient Egypt on this two-day tour of the Giza Pyramids, the iconic Sphinx, and Sakkara. Visit the pyramids and Memphis with an Egyptologist guide and stay in a 4-star hotel.
Following pickup from your hotel, get some great views of the landscape end route to the Egyptian capital. Stops can be made whenever you require.
Upon arrival in Cairo, visit the Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square, and discover one of the most comprehensive collections of Ancient Egyptian relics in the world. Explore treasures that tell the story of a highly developed culture.
Travel to Giza to see the Great Pyramids and Great Sphinx in the Giza Plateau. Admire the final remaining 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, built more than 4,500 years ago as everlasting graves for the pharaohs. Marvel at the mysterious Sphinx, a statue of a Pharaoh’s head with a lion’s body.
Sit back and relax on the journey back to your hotel in the evening in Cairo.
Second day Embark on a full-day tour to Memphis, and Sakkara from Cairo. Learn about the treasures of the ancient world with your guide and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Admire the impressive statue and get your photo taken beside it.
You will then visit Sakkara, a 27 km journey away from Cairo. The highlight of this section is the Step Pyramid. Built for King Zoser, it is considered an important part of the process of the pyramid evolution.
Finally, you'll head over to Memphis. Not the home of Elvis, of course, but the ancient capital of Egypt!
