Immerse yourself in the fascinating underwater world of the Red Sea by semi-submarine. Explore the city of Hurghada with a guided tour.
After breakfast be picked up at your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Climb aboard a semi-submarine and explore the underwater world off the shores of Hurghada. Semi-submarines have large panoramic windows and do not dive very deep. This gives you the best views under the water, especially near the reefs. Immerse yourself in the Red Sea and marvel at the colorful fish, reefs, and corals. Enjoy approximately 40 minutes to do some snorkeling and get up close to the vibrant marine life.
Next, discover the different districts of Hurghada on a city tour. Explore both the traditional old town and the new, modern city. Drive to a fishing village and visit original, simple houses that only have one floor. It feels like time stands still in this part of the city. The fishermen get up with the sunrise and go to sleep as the sun sets. Visit a shipyard and see how fishing boats are built and restored using traditional methods.
The largest mosque in Hurghada is situated nearby. Here you can learn more about Islam, the main religion of Egypt. You will then continue to the oldest Coptic church in the city. At the end of the tour, visit the large fruit and vegetable market before you are dropped off back at your hotel.
